Powertec are now distributing the Ericsson Wireless Landlines (also known as Call Trunking Units or CTUs) in New Zealand to help businesses reduce their mobile call and diversion costs.
The Ericsson Wireless Landlines or Call Trunking Units (CTUs) take a SIM card just like a normal mobile phone, except that they produce dial tone. This enables them to be connected to a company's phone system to route mobile calls out through the SIM card.
Mobile carriers often charge calls to other fleet mobiles at zero cost, by using an Ericsson Wireless Landline on your phone system companies can get free office to fleet calls and free office to mobile diversion.
